After a break of about 5 weeks, TNM Super League comes into action once again this weekend with teams ready to battle it out for Championship in the 2015 season.
According to Super League of Malawi (Sulom), the second round will be launched at Chitowe Stadium during a match between MAFCO FC and the league leaders Big Bullets FC on 12th September.
Big Bullets FC, Azam Tigers Fc, Silver Strikers Fc and CIVO Service Fc start their campaign of the second round with away games.
The league leaders who are yet to loose a match in the league travel to the Central Region to face the unpredictated Salima-based soldiers of MAFCO.
Lilongwe based CIVO Service united travel to the Cormmercial City of Blantyre on a revenge mission to play FISD Wizards and Mighty Be Forward Wanderers on Saturday and Sunday respectively. During the first round home assignments against the said teams, CIVO drew with the Mponda boys 0 – 0 while its ex-player, Jabulani Linje’s rate strike handed the Lali Rubani boys a victory over the Civo Servants.
The second placed Azam Tigers also travel to the Central Region with two assignments againts Kamuzu Barracks and EPAC Fc as Silver Strikers travels to the Northern Region to play against Moyale Barracks and Mzuni Fc.

SATURDAY, 12TH SEPTEMBER, 2015
1. MAFCO FC VS BIG BULLETS FC, CHITOWE STADIUM, 2:30 PM
Supporters of MAFCO Fc and Big Bullets will on 12th September travel to Chitowe Stadium in their team’s traditional colours to cheer up their teams. The leaders, Big Bullets Fc are yet to lose a game this season and they travel to Chitowe with an aim of continuing with their unbeaten run record in 2015 TNM Super League season. On the other hand, the Soldiers will go on the pitch with an aim of revenging what the Peoples team did to them in the first round and will look forward to end the unbeaten run in the league. Bullets Fc is bitter following their defeat in the Calsberg Cup final in hands of their rivals Mighty Be Forward Wanderers.
This loss will make its players to work hard in the MAFCO game to keep their hopes of defending the league title alive. Chiukepo Msowoya, Jafali Chande, Dalitso Sailesi and Fischer Khondowe are sharp to confuse MAFCO’s defence. On the other hand, the soldiers are seeking for a revenge. Bullets defeated MAFCO in two competitive matches this season; first round of the League 1 – 0, Chiukepo Msowoya on a score line and in Calsberg Cup semi finals through penalty shootouts after Jafali Chande had cancelled MAFCO’s lead to end the game 1 – 1. The soldiers have not forgotten of these bitter moments and will make sure to collect the 3 points with an added advantage of homeground with Paul Phiri, Zasha Mnong’öneza, Osward Mkagula and Anthony Banda ready to tear apart the Yamikani Fodya led Bullets defence.
2. KAMUZU BARRACKS VS AZAM TIGERS, CIVO STADIUM, 2:30 PM
The Kau Kau boys have been always underdogs in the first round of the league. Being on position 2 of the table shows that Azam Tigers has been an outsatnding team though it parted ways with some of its key players namely Isaac Kaliati, Stanley Sanudi, Malumbo Gondwe and Boston Kabango who joined other teams. The departure of these players has given a room to Peter Kamsonga and Yamikani Chester to show off their skills at the team. On the other side, Kamuzu Barracks’s run in the first round was a bit good as it finished on position Five with 22 points, 10 behind the leaders and managed to defeat Tigers in the first round with a single goal from Harvey Mkacha. 3. FISD WIZARDS VS CIVO SERVICE UNITED, KAMUZU STADIUM, 2:30 PM
Both FISD and CIVO started the 2015 TNM super league season with hicups. On the course, the servants found a winning formula and started their winning ways over their city rivals Silvers Strikers at Silver Stadium with goals from Nelson Kangunje and Emmanuel Zoya. When these two teams met, nobody seemed to have a desire of scoring as the game ended 0 – 0 but FISD Wizards had a Lion share on the ball possesion.
Unlike Civo which resurrected, FISD Wizards continued to embarace its followers until the end of the first round as it finished at the bottom of the table with 9 points. Both teams welcome their new players which they have loaned from other teams. FISD welcome Bullets’s Amos Khamula and Wanderers’s Precious Msosa on a loan deal as CIVO welcomes Victor Mpinganjira from Mighty Be Forward Wanderers. The Wizards are hoping that teh players will bring a change to their team as their major problem had been scoring of goals
