The Management of Domasi College of Education has released names of students to start a Three-year Diploma of Education Programme for the 2015/16 academic year set to begin in October 2015 at its campus in Zomba.
In a press release posted on its official Facebook page, Times Maravi can reveal that the management has released the names after they were approved by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
On Saturday Lonely Magreta, the secretary in the Ministry of Education Science and Technology announced that the ministry has made some changes on fees paid in both secondary schools and public universities. The changes that are poised to start in the 2015/16 academic year, include the stoppage of enrolling students on government sponsorship in public universities. According to the new fees structure, Domasi College students will be paying K 220 000 per academic year.
Meanwhile the college has advised both the newly selected and continuing students to arrive at the campus on Sunday, 18th October. The management has further communicated that the names of students selected on non-residential basis will be announced later. On top of that, it has also revealed to the general public that the Bachelor of Education (Sec) Programme advert will be released soon.
