After recovering from an injury, Malawi National Football team and Bloemfontein Celtic striker Frank Gabadinho Mhango is set to bounce back into action soon, Times Maravi can reveal.
Mhango, who has been nursing a knee injury for a long time has admitted that it affected his performance has hinted that he will resume playing in mean time. “The injury affected my performance but I am now 100% fit and I can play”, Mhango said on a telephone conversation from South Africa with Zodiak Sports desk on Friday evening.
In order to reclaim his position both at club and national teams, Mhango has said that he will work extra hard whenever given a chance, “It’s just a matter of hard work and dedication and all will be well both at my club and national team”.
He further said that he is just waiting for a national team call up to prove his fitness, “I am just waiting for a call up at national team and I can’t wait to join. I hope to deliver both at my club and the national team”. .
Mhango has been out of action for some months after he underwent an operation in South Africa.
