CONFIRMED: Thindwa Gets Operation, Given Six Weeks to Rest

Mighty Be Forward’ striker Ishmael Thindwa has now finally received a medication on his left knee at Beit Cure, Nthanda Times has learnt.

Thindwa, who has been struglling with the injury needed about K1.5 million for an operation. Mike Butao, Wanderers’ GS confirmed through a text that Mighty Be Forward Wanderers contributed a penny to take him to the hospital. “He is our player, so we thought it wise to help him rather than neglecting him”, answered Butao confirming the development.

Asked on when should Malawians expect to see him on pitch, butao said that Thindwa has been given six weeks to rest and possibly will be back in eught weeks time. Butao further said that Wanderers’ executive is in talks with Caps United so that he gets signed with Wanderers.

Thindwa, who is on loan from Caps United of Zimbabwe injured his left knee in August last year during training sessions at Limbe Country Club.

Thindwa is yet to feature for the Lali Lubani Outfits in a big game having played a single game against Chirumba Barracks in Calsberg Cup last year.
