Mighty Be Forward Wanderers newly recruited wonder kid Felix Zulu has for the first time disclosed how he feels to be included in the Wanderers’ senior team after being featured in four of the pre-season games the Lali Lubani outfits have had so far.
Speaking after Wanderers’ goalless draw against Ngokwe Fc of Machinga, Zulu said he is enjoying playing in the senior team following his promotion form Wanderers youth in February this year. Zulu also disclosed that Wanderers is the only team he has been supporting since he was young, “It was the team I supported when I was small. When I first started playing and watching football, I started supporting Wanderers because I love good football”.
The maestro midfielder first played for Be Forward Wanderers when the team played Zomba based soldiers, Red Lions at Balaka Stadium three weeks ago in which the Nomads defeated the soldiers 3 – 1.
When Wanderers playe Nsanama Fc of Machinga last week, Zulu was behind the making Mike Kaziputa’s goal and he feels happy to have been delivering his work to the team, “it is not bad, I’m enjoying the moment. I’m just happy to help my team and that is a positive so we will take that into the next game”
Zulu further said that he does not fear that he is playing with experienced players for this has been his dream, “It is a dream playing with experienced players like Jimmy Zakazaka, Francis Mlimbika just to mention a few. They give me confidence; they help me out and give me advice”
Felix Zulu was promoted from Wanderers Youth following his brilliant performance in the just ended Southern Region Football League.
